excerpt from a sci-fi project

This is my first attempt at screenwriting. This is a script for the ± 1-minute teaser. The formatting is a bit messed up due to restrictions on WordPress (plus my poor HTML skills).

Please note that some of the contents are hidden to protect the story.

INT.MARSNIK 1 LAUNCH CONTROL ROOM, THE BAIKONUR COSMODROME, RUSSIA
SUPER: THE BAIKONUR COSMODROME, RUSSIA.OCT 10, 1960 
Russia’s first Mars mission is getting ready for the launch.
MAN 1 (SPEAKING IN RUSSIAN) 
All systems go. 
MAN 2 (SPEAKING IN RUSSIAN) 
Everybody, stay focused.We are creating history. 

THE BIG SCREEN IN THE MIDDLE 
Begins countdown 
MAN 3 Presses a button on the keyboard when the countdown 
reaches 9. An explosion is heard outside. Everybody 
panics, but (contents hidden)

CUT TO:
SUPER: OCT 14, 1940. THE BAIKONUR COSMODRUM, RUSSIA

MAN 1 (SPEAKING IN RUSSIAN)
Everybody, pay attention now.
Everybody is focused on their screens. The big screen in the middle is showing the countdown from 7.

MAN 1 (SPEAKING IN RUSSIAN) CONT'D
We don’t want another mistake.

The countdown screen reaches 0, and a blast is heard. A brief pause before everyone begins to clap. 

MAN 3 
Calmly walks over to an unattended computer and presses a 
button. The communication screen next to the countdown screen flickers and (contents hidden)

CUT TO:
INT. (contents hidden)
SUPER: NOV 30, 1964 
A group of scientists are tracking an alien craft. It is 
clear that scientists are (contents hidden)
SCIENTIST ONE
Is everybody ready?
MAN 3 (TYPING ON THE COMPUTER)
Almost
SCIENTIST ONE
What’s going on?
MAN 3
I am resetting the time and date.
Man 3 presses a few buttons, his computer screen reads” New 
connection established”
MAN 3 (CONT'D)
Done. Come to mama baby. 


CUT TO:
INT. INSIDE AN UNMANNED SPACECRAFT 
A tiny screen shows the “connection stable” sign. Then it 
changes to “connection terminated” followed by (contents hidden)

CUT TO 
EXT. OUTER SPACE
A spacecraft is travelling. It slowly changes its course 
towards the planet it was flying by. 
Then it quietly (contents hidden)


CUT TO:
INT.  (contents hidden)
SUPER: (contents hidden)
MAN 3
This should work.
He is in front of his computer that is displaying the word 
(contents hidden)
The computer displays a planet changing into a various types 
(contents hidden)
MAN 3 (CONT'D)
Here we go. (contents hidden) welcomes you.
(chuckles)

EXT: MARTIAN SURFACE. 
A craft approaches the Martian atmosphere. As the craft gets closer , the surface changes dramatically (contents hidden)
